Our products are produced in a home kitchen compliant with Colorado cottage food laws. Please note that my cakes do contain dairy, gluten, and possibly tree nuts. Although I do offer a small selection of dairy-free and gluten-free confections, please note that equipment may have been in contact with common food allergens such as eggs, soy, tree nuts, wheat, and milk.
We recommend booking with us a minimum of two weeks in advance. For wedding cakes, it is recommended to book a minimum of four (4) weeks in advance. A rush order fee will apply if the order is booked too close to the event date. All custom inquiries will be directed to our online custom order form to initiate the process. Information supplied via your online form will give me a quick understanding of what you're looking for. Please allow a minimum of 24 hours for a response. All items are made fresh to order.
A 50% non-refundable retainer fee is required to reserve your event date in our books. No retainer payment equals no booking. Final payment shall be made 2 weeks before event delivery/pickup date. Payment shall be made via electronic transfer, preferably via Square link. Payment in full is required for cakes/orders $300 and under. The nature of our premier service means that every last detail is designed just for you. This includes the price. Once you've told me the essential info such as date, number of guests etc., you'll receive a quote following your order form submittal.
16:3 Cake Studio makes buttercream cakes only. We do not use fondant. As a buttercream artist, the following mediums are used: buttercream texture, buttercream painting, chocolate work, sugar work and live/fuax floral work. Feel free to attach mood boards, color schemes etc. 16:3 Cake Studio does not duplicate other cake designs. *Design disclaimer: we do not replicate other artist's work. We specialize in unique designs. I can certainly draw inspiration from photo(s) submitted but design is subject to cake designer's interpretation.*
